Stop the Bleed Training at Melissa ISD

RCR Medical had the opportunity to lead a Stop the Bleed training at Melissa Independent School District this past Saturday. We had a great time working with fellow officers and civilians and spreading knowledge and awareness on how to respond in active shooter situation. Stop the Bleed is a national campaign that is intended to encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives (https://www.dhs.gov/stopthebleed). It was a great opportunity to show how easy the X8T Tourniquet is to use in comparison with other tourniquets on the market. The seconds it saves can truly equate to lives saved.
